FIS Blue Tactical Cable

This ruggedized optical fiber cable is designed with protection for rugged deployment and harsh environments. Fiber optic cabling of this nature is crush resistant and has a protective jacket for flexibility which also resists abrasion. This type of cabling is made for repeated use where severe environments are the norm. The cable can be rolled up and reused. This is an excellent way to set up temporary networks such as concerts or outdoor events. FIS Blue fiber optic tactical cable consists of a rugged, flexible polyurethane outer jacket and up to twelve 900μm tight-buffered fibers surrounded by aramid yarn and an aramid ripcord. The jacket is pressure extruded over the strength member which allows the pulling device to be attached directly to the cable’s outer jacket. This will transfer the pulling force directly to the strength members with no slippage.
